About this camp

The Woodlands Children's Museum Summer Camps offer engaging, indoor educational exploration for children aged 4-10, focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) disciplines. Campers participate in hands-on science experiments using specialized NISE kits, exploring topics like habitats, physics, space, and the animal kingdom. Artistic expression is fostered through activities such as clay sculpting, oil painting, watercolor, and large-scale cardboard constructions. Technology and engineering skills are developed through robotics workshops, including LEGO® Bot Builders, Beyond Robotics, Creative Coders, and Battlebot Technicians. Digital disciplines are also a highlight, with programs in 3D Game Development, Minecraft Builders, Minecraft Modders & Coders, Roblox Game Masters, Dino World Gamemakers, and Superhero Moviemakers. Additionally, an extended-day theatre experience allows children to delve into performance and storytelling. These camps aim to balance rigorous discovery with age-appropriate fun, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and technical thinking in young learners.
