Students in the RUSMP Preparing for Success in Precalculus program will engage in active learning to strengthen their mathematics foundations and prepare for upcoming precalculus coursework. The curriculum emphasizes conceptual understanding, mathematical communication, and proof and justification, utilizing authentic, real-world problems to deepen comprehension. Participants will explore mathematical concepts through a problem-solving approach, incorporating visualization technology and collaborative activities such as whiteboard discussions and graphing exercises. What a typical day looks like

Students engage in active learning and problem-solving activities from 9 a.m. to noon, including collaborative work and the use of visualization technology.
